What does UCITS mean?
UCITS stands for Undertakings for Collective Investment in Transferable Securities. It is a European regulatory framework for investment funds. UCITS funds must comply with requirements covering areas such as eligible investments, diversification, risk management, investor disclosures and fund oversight. In simple terms, UCITS provides a recognised regulatory structure for pooled investment funds.

Key points for advisers
- Capital at risk: TEAM UCITS funds are professionally managed, diversified investment funds. They are not structured notes or capital-protected products. Their value fluctuates with the underlying investments, and capital is at risk.
- Fees: The ongoing charges figure (OCF) or total expense ratio (TER), where applicable, should be checked in the relevant factsheet or KIID. These are fund-level cost measures and should not automatically be treated as the client’s total investment cost.
- Platform access: Availability depends on the relevant investment platform, provider and share class.
- Fund selection: Advisers can consider Growth, Balanced or Conservative according to the client’s investment objectives, time horizon and risk profile.
- Product provider: TEAM Asset Management manages the funds. NEBA Financial Solutions makes them available to advisers through its distribution network.
